1.Managing a team of 10 professional buyers and a total work force of 40 including warehouse personnel. Managing local and overseas procurement team.2. Work very closely with internal Stakeholders/Business Units to understand their needs, objectives and support required running the operational efficiently.3. Reviewing tenders and bids and get competitive pricing to obtain the award. Preparing high quality tender documentation.4.Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment and Supplier Performance and ensure supplier perform contractual obligation.5.Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance.6. Sourcing the most affordable materials/eqpt for oil & gas and petrochemical projects and develop sourcing strategy7. Projecting stock levels and reorder when safety stock reduces, to support uninterrupted flow of consumables and bulk materials to project8. Controlling the purchasing budget and prepare monthly savings report for each project.9. Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time as time is of essence.10.Delivering cost savings for the company using the right incoterms and right mode and type of shipment11.Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company.12.Helping to source alternative items with reduced cost but meeting the tech requirement13.Actively participate in client meetings and conduct monthly meeting to procurement staffs14.Regularly contacting suppliers to renegotiate prices and follow up current market price.15.Resolving disputes and claims with vendors and suppliers.16 Keeping all supplier programs current and accurate.17.Effectively delegating projects and tasks to procurement engineers18.Involved in writing up procurement plan, preparing procurement control list, expediting report and shipment status report.

Regularly achieving cost saving targets.4. Resourceful and well organized.5. Extensive knowledge of purchase order systems and related software.6.Deep understanding of the principles of vendor management.7.Ability to manage multiple projects8.Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and strategic skills.9.Knowledge of SAP.10.Involved in writing up procurement plan, preparing procurement control list, expediting report and shipment status report.11.Working to create and promote a safe working environment.12.Involved in selling off excess, damaged and inventory and stock.13. conducting training to staffs on procurement process, bid tabulations, Payment Terms, Letter of Credits etc.14.Set KPI for procurement personnel

Project coordination.Working very closely with engineering team on timely delivery of deliverable such Purchase Requisitions,Technical bid evaluation,drawings and documents etc.
