Enjoying the current role of CFO for multiple companies with international presence. In addition to helping the CEO and the leadership team with strategy, legal & corporate structure, funding requirements and financial leadership, the additional value creation has been to work with the next layer for defining and designing the right processes, controls, detailed reporting to facilitate decision making and driving the habit of focusing on operational efficiency and profitability, which are very essential for growing companies. Though it is quite different from my previous full time roles, this has been an exciting one so far.

Spearheaded Cross Border Corporate Structure, Strategy / M & A, Human Resources and Global Operations. Led and managed all aspects of the strategic M&A transaction resulting in 100% ownership transfer of the Company including creation of sale strategy, satisfying buyer due diligence and negotiating the deal structure and purchase -sale agreement. Provided leadership and guidance to the leadership team to fortify its ongoing growth and profitability which included developing / coaching individuals and succession planning. With additional responsibility of leading HR, Legal and Operations, brought in significant operational and organization efficiency including cost savings, effective tax planning and transforming the organization to a structured operating company. Established a self-occupied office space in Silicon Valley with a credit facility resulting in significant cost savings, value appreciation and protection from escalating rent/ cost of operations.

Partnered with the CEO in transforming AlphaVista to be the 2nd ranked special education company in California. Developed and provided plan for new operating model which included detailed plan foe process re-engineering and rebuilding which resulted in significant cost savings. Set up a large credit facility which helped the company navigate the business seasonality and economic challenges successfully. Led the HR and Legal functions providing stability to the business operations delivering significant operational and organizational efficiency. Led and managed all aspects of 100% sale of the Company including finalizing of sale strategy, identifying the buyer, financial, legal and operational due diligence, negotiating the deal structure and purchase-sale agreement.

Recognized as one of the MVP (Most Valuable Player), was part of the core corporate team that scripted the growth story of 50 to 2500+ strong workforce through challenging times. Gained rich experience in raising capital, implementing control systems, processes and reports for streamlining operations, improving efficiency and data driven decision making. Created and managed a revenue generation stream that contributed 33% of the topline of the products division.
