I joined Alorica Kennesaw on May 09 2017 and following 10 weeks of intensive traiining I graduated as a full time agent working on the Verizon Project. The role was managing detained people from Category A (High Risk), Terrorism and Counter Terrorism (TACT) through to arrestees and prison lockouts. It was a high-pressure role, requiring security clearances (UK Terrorism and Counter Terrorism), based around a twelve-hour shift pattern. My duties involved processing detainees, performing searches, taking photographs, fingerprints, DNA, Drug tests, assisting in seizing forensic evidence managing the custody suite by performing constant dynamic risk assessments and inspections ensuring the safety of the staff. We were also responsible for auditing the detainees property, evidence and cash receiving and handing over completed documentation between the custody teams. We also acted as court agents producing prisoners to appear either in person or via video link to the courts. Because of its central location we also handled the business of the Specialist Squads from Scotland Yard, dealing with High Profile cases (murderers, extradition, extortion, cyber crime, kidnapping, celebrities,sex offenses and terrorists) The role was demanding and as a uniformed officer I was trained to exceptional standards using discretion, appropriate law, in addition to providing positive interventions and first aid as required. -

In partnership with our supplier Lockheed Martin I designed and took delivery of 12 servers and 300 workstations. I designed the original build to Windows 2000 specifications and imaged the workstations, these were then integrated with the network to form the backbone for our expanding team to work from. These were upgraded on a rolling basis in various forms to XP / Vista / Win7 to meet strategic business needs. I accomplished this using a variety of tools starting from proven base build (Ghost Image) and either providing any necessary variations and driver updates via a SUS server, LAN share or local disk. I maintained a software library that met the business needs of the team as well ITIL standard maps (network and floor plan), inventory lists and network information. I managed the network and its infrastructure on a 24/7 basis using a combination of network monitoring tools (What’s Up Gold) and pager codes backed with a parts only warranty from IBM and Cisco. We operated a mixed and complex environment, utilising Windows 2000 Servers, Windows 2000 / Windows XP and Windows 7 with a variety of industry standard and bespoke software tools to support the business needs.. We passed several internal and external inspections from the OGC, HMIC as well as internal MPS inspections. I reported directly to a Deputy Assistant Commissioner and supported his Staff based at several locations and was the primary point of contact for our network and users, providing 24/7 support. When we completed service delivery, I handed over 14 servers, 305 workstations, Cisco catalysts, 2 Cisco 2600 and numerous printers and Laptops to Directorate of Information control. The C3i closed down and received numerous awards and accolades for excellence and governance having been the biggest most successful change programme in UK. -
