Playing a leadership role for a team of 130+ ambitious engineers diversifying across Software Development, QA & Automation and Operations. Created the VIPER (Video over IP Engineering and Research) team from the scratch and have played a significant role in growing the team to where it is today. Responsible for application teams involved in Player platform development, Cloud DVR development, Packager and Transcoder dev & automation, Performance testing and Set Top box automation involving RDK B and RDK V firmwares. Responsible for Video test automation across multiple player platforms and also owning the teams which provide first hand monitoring and support for production incidents across all data centers of Comcast. Working with diverse syndication partners in terms of providing Video Platform support and part of multitude of IP video related technological innovations. Active part of Comcast India Engineering Center's growth and strategy and participate in multiple site level initiatives that spans across multiple teams. Leader in the innovation space and have multiple patents / continuous grooming to the next level of inventors and creating a culture of innovation and inclusion.

Comcast VIPER (Video over IP Engineering and Research) - Role is to create the VIPER team on chennai from scratch and grow it to handle multiple portfolios and diverse set of skillsets and activities. Started the team as a QA and slowly developed and gained confidence from the mothership thereby growing automation, operations and development teams totalling to a size of 100+ members by end of 2022. Hired as the third Comcast India Employee - the role has been to primarily setup the green field for Comcast at Chennai specifically to ramp up the Premises Engineering (device) QA team. Actively participated on Hiring, building up a training model, strategising around different challenges on knowledge transfer etc.. Primary responsibilities include QA engineering for devices that run RDK -V as well as RDK -B stacks. Lead the automation efforts for Video and Broadband devices test automation, created a test strategy for regression, performance, functional and release testing practices for the teams. Lead the team who designed the end to end automation framework for RDK devices which has enabled the test turn around time reduction by more than 80%. Defect leakages reduced to more than 90% and efficiency improved by more than 10X. Active participant on Center level activities that involved creating a culture of innovation and inclusion amongst the ambitious engineers.

Part of the Device QA organization which is responsible for delivering automated testing across multiple flavours of Kindle and Amazon Fire devices. Lead a team of QA and automation engineers responsible for building the automation frameworks, running them on a large fleet of devices across racks and virtual setups, and delivering quicker time to market for new product builds and OTAs. Innovated on areas which includes video verification testing using cameras and synchronized lab setups. Designed a normalization framework for defining, maintaining and managing productivity and performance monitoring for all team members. Enabled a culture of innovation, transparency and inclusion and was able to maintain significantly good employee retention amidst tough times.

Worked for the Competitive Monitoring pricing team which is responsible for maintaining the price competitivity of Amazon products compared to competitors.- Responsible for managing a team of dev and QA engineers who build and support one of the key price matching engines that runs continuously on a fleet of aws servers 24X7 to dynamically match the competitive price that the competitor offers - Worked on technologies that involved crawling, scraping and pattern matching on a very large scale- Delivered results in improving the price matching efficiency by multiple folds by introducing new channels of competitive mapping - primary owner of the Google Product Search mapping engine and lead the automation around the same- Able to effectively engage with other competitive mapping engines to share best practices and synergize innovations across the table- Part of Amazon center level innovation activities and catalyzed the patenting effort for the CMT teams

Responsible for the "Global Sales Tools" application L3 and bug fixes. Handled more teams and lead a team size of 18 members spanning across 3 different applications of diverse nature. Worked as a individual contributor towards designing automation frameworks to improve efficiency across the table and constantly been challenged with the expectations of improving applications performance with the scale of customer growth. Been synergizing center of excellence initiatives for key skills that are scattered across multiple projects within the British Telecom ecosystem. Improved the global sales tools suite of product's performance by 10X through storage optimzation initiatives that were implemented on production on multiple scale / data centers. An active team leader responsible for maintaining motivation and reducing burnouts from the team members considering the evolution stage of British Telecom's engagement with HCL. Awarded as the "Best Employee of the Year" and received the felicitations directly from Roel Louwhoff who was then the CEO for British Telecom.

Part of the first few members on the British Telecom Engagement. Started with an application named eDCA which is a backend for provisioning MPLS lines to customers. Because of the application's criticality and severity, the role involved Level 3 bug fixes, Level 2 support and log monitoring for proactive identification of possible issues. Performed predominantly an individual contributor role with day to day responsibilities including bug fixes, resolving high severity tickets on production and performing deployments on an application stack that involved serialized deployment model for almost 20 upstream and downstream applications. Handled all stakeholder communications from Chennai team and grown to a Technical Lead handling multiple similar products. Worked on British Telecom office at Leavesden Park, London for a short term project involving application transition and migration from On prem to Cloud data centers.

Started my career as a C++ software developer on Telecom Billing product named Atlys. Specialized in "Usage" module which focusses on extracting usage information from CDR processing and convert as revenue to the provider. Worked on Complex CDR real time processing, ALNR migrations and also MNP implementations for multiple telecom clients. Role was predominantly C++ backend developer part of a 10 member team. Able to achieve leadership and team level recognitions in forms of spotlighting employee excellence awards and "power of one" awards.
