• Manage, co-ordinate and direct associates in handling of Settlement of Securities lending loans and collateral.• Collateral management –Bilateral and Tri-party-Monitoring the collateral position,agreeing with brokers to collect collateral,input collateral trades and follow up until settlement.• Income/Dividend and Corporate action –Administration of the income and corporate actions on the stocks lent and accordingly raise claims from the brokers.,• Static data management – Client ,Broker and securities are set up in the system.• Securities lending Billing and fees management- Raising invoices to the brokers post trade for the fees accrued,reconciling the billing statements with brokers,claiming the fees from brokers and paying to the client.• Reconciliation of cash and securities position.• Constantly interacting with traders and other stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.• Responsible for defining the service level agreements, standard operating procedures for the team,framing of Process self risk assessment and control plan.• Ensure in-house applications are upgraded to serve clients better including identifying changes to the systems and liaising with application development teams.• Employee related management included interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, motivating, performance appraisal, conflict resolution, Recruited quality future employees.

• Managing the full scope of local settlements and custody for APAC region.• Responsible for timely settlement of equity and fixed income trades in Singapore,Hong Kong and Australian markets.• Working closely with Clients and Global custody team to ensure trades go straight through and reduce the settlement failure rates.

• To validate and cleanse settlement static data (eg. bank account details, BIC codes etc.) maintained for 500 priority clients.• Contact the clients to get their current settlement instructions and a revalidation is performed against settlement static data maintained in internal DB settlement systems.• To update the SSI’s (Standard Setllement instructions) in Espear in accordance with Euroclear and CEDEL STP.• Review and update DB settlement systems where required, ensuring accuracy levels maintained and adhering to SLA’s defined for the process.• Meet business targets defined for quantity and quality.• Active communication with client contact group.
