I love to build software. During my nineteen-year career in Software Development leadership I have prided myself on delivering successful projects to global customers. Having worked in different roles in multiple verticals across domains, I still hold the enthusiasm of a coder.As Vice President of TaraSpan India’s Software Development Program from Pune, over the past 17 years I have created and managed offshore teams for North American clients, the majority of which were multi-year engagements. I received royalty for the Unified Messaging product that we developed for a North American Company. I have built teams from scratch, been the main customer interface, provided management and technical guidance, performed technical due diligence for M&As, and mentored dozens of young engineers in how to create great software products. I always kept myself abreast with modern technologies and kept pace with what I liked. I’m a Certified Scrum Master from Agile Institute and have completed many small courses on MongoDB university. I wrote many internal and public blog articles and gave many training sessions to impart my knowledge to others. I also like to tinker and play with new technologies to explore its capabilities and possibilities, as well as to keep myself current with the latest developments. During my career, I worked on varied verticals and technologies, Digital Video Surveillance, Unified Messaging, Web Applications, Microsoft Exchange based Email solutions, Remote Desktop to name a few. I’ve worked on products developed QNX, Linux and Windows; coded in C, Java, JavaScript, MERN stack, Python; and used various development tool chains.
