Experienced music supervisor and rights consultant, focused on sourcing, creating and licensing music across long form film and broadcast projects, and short form advertising & branded content.Now running UK based independent King Lear Music & Sound, a sound design and music post production facility in Shoreditch.Learnt my trade as a music supervisor in-house at Wave Studios, working with brands like Dior, Nike, Heineken, and feature films The Killing of a Sacred Deer, The Favourite (Yorgos Lanthimos) and Disobedience (Sebastian Lelio). Completed a Graduate Diploma in Law in 2019, with a focussed dissertation exploring the extent that the copyright, designs & patents act 1988 protects artists in the music industry with regards to licensing existing music for picture.Experience in both creative and licensing music roles as both music supervisor & rights holder, having previously headed up Decca’s sync department for Europe across Decca Records and Decca Publishing at Universal Records.
