I had the privilege of meeting Gigi at a Leadershape, a leadership conference where college students from all over the country were in attendance. In just a short week, I was able to interact with Gigi and she completely changed my life. If she could have such a huge impact on me in less than 7 days, there is no limits to what she can do in her life. Gigi has a smile that lights up a room. She has a true and genuine love for people that is hard to find. Gigi cares for all of humanity, the rich, the poor, the white, the black. Gigi sees people for who they really are. She has an amazing ability to love people in such a way that it forces them to love themselves. No matter what has gone on in the past, or what is happening in the present, Gigi has a special power to block out everything in someone’s mind and help them to find their true self. She has a way of empowering people to see the good instead of the bad. In one day with GiGi I she was able to bring out the true spirit of love in me. She did the same for our whole group, who she lead in such a way that we all fell in love with people. She views people for who they really are and has an amazing ability to bring that view out in others as well. Gigi has a passion for helping people. Her passion is so real that it radiates among others who are around her. This woman, who I had never met before, came into my life and changed it in less than a week. Give her the opportunity and she will change countless lives. I have been forever changed by the leadership of Garaneisha McDowell and because of her efforts, I am now a better leader and am changing lives of my own. Garaneisha, you will remember the name. This amazing woman has been a great leader and is still young. Over the many years of her life she will continue to change the lives of people. Gigi is the most amazing and inspirational people that I have ever met. In a leadership conference full of the greatest college student leaders from around the country GiGi stood out. Her leadership abilities were seen over all others and she was able to lead the greatest leaders and build them up to be better leaders than what they already were. GiGi, if you see her smile, see her passion, you will not forget. She will impact any room, any college, any state that she encounters. GiGi is one of the greatest leaders in this current age.
