In the field I took full responsibility of all volunteers’ wellbeing and safety.• Proposed and implemented a community project to inform and recommend changes to current crees’ activities in regards to the creation and use of bio-gardens in the local community. For this, I interviewed bio-garden beneficiaries, analysed the data using social surveying methodology and finally produced a report paired with a presentation presenting the results and recommendations.• Worked on the reserve’s butterfly guide, leaving a deliverable for future use.• Created a 6-month Spanish learning program and delivered weekly Spanish classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

• Assisted in PhD and MSc butterfly research on Brown argus (Aricia agestis) and High brown fritillary (Argynnis adippe) in SW England. Tasks included vegetation surveys, data interpretation, transects and butterfly identification.• Analysed field data using R Studio to obtain preliminary results on butterfly population differences and the potential impacts of climate change on butterfly distributions.
