My education is one of the things in life where I take pride because it is where my toil and struggle are invested. I learned how to navigate the unchartered territory of higher education that became the building blocks of a strong educational foundation. Becoming a physician will let me connect with patients of my community. I want to push to diversify our healthcare workforce to meet our patient populations. There would be an unspoken understanding, easier road to trust, and shared history with a common goal of “bienestar,” meaning wellbeing.
