Teaching online graduate classes for the Master of Public Health in Public Health Informatics.

Founded the Instructional Technology Lab in 1997 to serve as a hub for providing campus-wide Teaching & Learning support for faculty and staff, and to explore emerging technologies.Brought to campus and ran a number of early-adopter educational technology systems and services including Blackboard Learn, FirstClass and WebBoard Asynchronous Discussion Board systems, LifeText LMS, Lotus Notes Learning Space, RealNetworks Streaming, MeetingMaker Calendaring, Mallard Quizzing, Flash Media Streaming, Centra Symposium and Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing, SafeAssignment Plagiarism system, H.323 IP Videoconferencing end-point systems and MCUs, Blackboard Mobile Learn, i>Clicker and TurningPoint student response systems, and ShareStream Media Delivery.Formed part of the Academic Technologies team that help envision, deliver and support the original University of Illinois Online Initiative, which started in 1999.Part-time instructor of online and blended learning courses in Public Health Informatics, since 2002.Participated in the planning, delivery and support of several capital program projects, including the first 30+ multimedia-enhanced classroom remodeling projects, the Language & Cultural Learning Center and the UIC Library IDEA Commons.Directed Academic Computing's general-purpose computer training seminars and workshops and licensed campus-wide access of Lynda.com back in 2009.Founded the Student Media Lab, in 2009, modeled after the highly successful Instructional Technology Lab available for faculty and staff, to provide campus-wide instructional technology support to UIC students.Reporting directly to the campus CIO since 1993, I played a role in having Academic Computing fund, procure, adopt and offer other services, including wireless networking access, mobile computing support, computer lab software, Teaching & Learning with Technology conferences, lecture capture services and Google Apps for Education.

My primarily responsibilities included overseeing instructional technology support, faculty development, emerging technologies and operation of a number of Teaching & Learning educational technology systems and services, including multimedia delivery and Web/video conferencing services.
