My position as Scanning Engineer for the PCC Structurals's Materials and Technology department requires managing and supporting all present and emerging 3D scanning related projects throughout the division. In addition, I provide solutions for GD&T analysis of our scanned products and training for each scanning equipment and software.Equipment: Creaform, ATOS, FARO, LMI, Zeiss Software: Polyworks, GOM Inspect, VXelements, Geomagic Design X

Working primarily with the Shapify 3D scanning booth, I facilitate the process of converting a digital full body 3D scan of a person to a scale miniature through 3D printing with gypsum. After a scan is made, I check the scan and make any corrections needed before printing, which may include rescanning and manipulating the digital file for optimal printing results. In addition to a technical artist, I operate Artec 3D scanners to recreate client parts and materials for reverse engineering purposes. The process includes multiple scans, clean up, and merging the object data for a clean 3D render.

As a 3D Graphic Designer, I am tasked with analyzing and developing 3D representations from client CAD files. I am responsible for the model while texturing and rendering it in our software. I also assist in the Templating department with the same responsibilities I had in my previous position.

During my time at SpaceView, I managed and designed 3D models for the SpaceView app, which allowed our clients to visualize life-like furniture, supplies, and equipment for their home, offices, and settings. Along with the 3D models, I communicated with our clients to grasp their ideas to ensure high customer satisfaction with our product.

My main objective is to create accurate device textures and images for iTracs CPIM implementation. Template Designers also maintain and manage the library of template images with weekly updates and backups. During my time, I have also worked in QA, developed scripts for the department's benefit, and conceptualized and developed several designs including icons, logos, and websites.

I assist with Yves Amu Klein in his projects and sculptures. My tasks involve calculating and verifying measurements, dimensions, and parts lists, carpentry and metal works, and programming microchips such as Arduinos or any Lorax chips.

As a student ambassador, I help around the offices of the Student Support Center. Aside from paperwork and other office duties, my main job is to give tours to pending and incoming students around the UAT campus. On several occasions, Student Ambassadors volunteer their time for various activities involving UAT from recruiting, VIP visits, and other special events.
