Ceres is a national coalition of investors, environmental organizations and other public interest groups working with companies to address sustainability challenges such as global climate change and water scarcity.As a Manager in the Corporate Program at Ceres, I advised companies on sustainability strategy, disclosure and stakeholder engagement. I worked with companies across a range of sectors, including technology, financial services, real estate, and consumer products, on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. I helped lead the development and design of a new website featuring the Ceres Roadmap: www.ceres.org/roadmap. The web platform provides users with examples of best practice as well as interactive data.Additional responsibilities included business planning, performance assessment, database management, and communications and development support.

As a Senior Associate, I supported advisory services to the Ceres Company Network through research, writing and project management. In addition, I co-led our internal sustainability program, with responsibility for developing strategy, engaging employees, implementing new programs to meet goals, and writing and publishing an annual Sustainability Report.

As the first Associate added to the Finance and Operations team, I created several systems to streamline internal functions, including a new accounts receivable process which reduced the rate of defaulted payments.
