The team was the technical authority for these platforms, meaning that part of my role involved managing relations with the DCs, our central support functions, liaising with our in-country pre and post sales support teams as well as new and existing customers to update them on our roadmaps. Additional responsibilities included:• Complete overhaul of the standards used within all DCs.• Deployment of a centrally managed build & patch platform for RHEL and Windows.• Successful renegotiation of several vendor contracts, securing significant cost savings.• The launch of a new shared storage product into multiple DCs.• Comprehensive Media CDN overhaul including hardware, software and network redesign.• Complete replacement of our Internet Services platform, migrating from Solaris to Linux VMs.• Providing the vision and initial technical design for our new VDC product
