Environmental consulting predominantly to the mining industry, my responsibilities included environmental consulting services; environmental management; integrated water and waste management; managing client and stakeholder relations; conducting environmental impact assessment; and ensuring and enforcing legal compliance.

Sub-contracted to do research on forestry-based bioenergy in the field of sustainable development, my responsibilities were to identify knowledge gaps; review literature; set relevant and intriguing research questions; collect, manage and analyse data; and write peer reviewed articles on the social, financial and environmental impacts of the Jatropha biodiesel industry.

I taught biology and chemistry to teenage learners at IGCSE and GCE/A-level and IGCSE respectively.
