Joined a fast growing construction startup as the first full time office based hire. They grew to over £1m in revenue while I was managing the finance function. I successfully implemented the accounting systems and processes, with complete control of Management Accounts, VAT, Payroll, CIS, Cashflow Forecasting, Credit Control and liaising with external accountants. My role also spilled over into general operations, getting stuck in wherever was needed.

I joined Wellers to get some experience working in a larger business to further my career and contacts in the industry. As a trainee at Wellers, my role included a variety of tasks including Accounts Preparation, VAT Returns, Bookkeeping, Tax Returns, Audit and Cash Flow Statements.
