I joined the Eagle team in 2015 from a CFO role, bringing a wealth of experience across Corporate Commercial, Accounting and Banking roles. My HACCP certification helps in understanding the requirements needed for Eagle Protect™ to remain the leader in food safe disposable clothing and gloves. As a field hockey double Olympian understand the importance of food safety and love being part of a high performing team.Eagle Protect is a privately owned company established in 2006. Based in Christchurch, New Zealand and California, USA, we are a food safety company that reviews and specifies best practice single-use disposables to the food and medical sectors. These products include latex and nitrile gloves, disposable non-woven clothing and PE protective wear.Our products provide protection to people in a range of different fields, particularly the food processing/preparation, medical, automotive, cleaning and beauty industries. We also protect the reputation of our clients, by ensuring the products we sell are ethically sourced and carefully manufactured in factories we personally visit and inspect.In 2012, Eagle Protect became the first New Zealand Certified B Corporation and I enjoy being an active member of the growing B Corp™ community. The B Corp™ accreditation framework gave us the structure to build a company that was both profitable and sought to reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible. We were successfully re-accredited in 2014, and in 2015 we became incorporated as a Benefit Corporation in the US based in South Lake Tahoe. Using business as a force for good is absolutely central to Eagle. We are keen to grow and improve our business, eager to find different ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.
