Working as a systems engineer within the installation team at Prestwick. Tasked with supporting and managing the installation of new and existing infrastructure at the Scottish and Oceanic Control Centre at Prestwick in support of project work.Responsible for managing the physical design and transition of replay facilities at Prestwick centre to facilitate the advancement of future ops room projects as part of the companies Deploying SESAR project.

Working as part of a highly skilled team I helped to maintain the communication and navigation infrastructure used to deliver our services to the customer. Covering remote sites from Cumbria to the Shetland Isles, this role required additional specialist training in off road vehicle operations, winter weather safety and survival.I achieved 14 level 3 equipment competencies in a range of radio station, navigation, networking and power equipment during my time as a remote site engineer.

2016 Engineering Technician Scheme member. An 18 month technical training scheme learning the skills required to be a maintenance engineer within NATS. As well as technical experience on a range of different ATM systems I developed my project management skills through a business improvement project. This looked at ways to safeguard lone workers at remote sites and led to a trial of my work at Gibraltar airport.

Landscape technician working in the family business. The work involved everything from general garden maintenance to small scale civil engineering works for domestic clients.
