Dive & Adventure are a locally based dive group who enjoys everything the ocean has to offer. I work closely with the owner Tony Smit assisting in the day-to-day operations of the diving school and shop. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀⇒ Fulfilling divemaster duties I.e: boat launches, leading students during classes and dives.⇒ Performing pre-and-post diving briefs as well as planning, arranging, and executing diving expeditions.⇒ Acting as both qualified rescue diver and first aid medical responder during dives with students and qualified divers.⇒ Managing the day-to-day runnings of Dive and Adventure's on-site diving shop. This includes diving gear: rentals; cleaning and maintenance as well as the filling of cylinders.⇒ Developing and executing marketing strategy. Managing the website, Facebook, and Instagram pages, as well as handling the photography and content for the before mentioned.

Working with and reporting directly to the owner, I was responsible for the overall planning and operational management for the conversion of a smallholding to a Guest House. I was tasked with addressing all concerns and dealing with renovations, construction, maintenance, and managing of the day-to-day runnings.𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀⇒ Assisting with the construction and development plan in order to convert a smallholding into a Guest House.⇒ Overseeing the day-to-day running of all construction and renovations, as well as handling all snags and issues as and when they arise.⇒ Developing and planning of marketing strategy for the launch of the Guest House, market research, determining Guest House rates, and planning of additional offerings I.e: functions and weddings.⇒ Working closely with a designated lawyer, architect, municipality, and construction company in order to compile documentation for the use of the Guest House; drafting of building plans; approval of plans and finally execution and commencement of building.⇒ Overseeing day-to-day running and management of JoJo tanks, borehole and water pumps, garden irrigation, garden services, swimming pool maintenance, CCTV; alarm & electric fence, cleaning services, and procuring of all material/stock.

Assisted with diving schools, daily operations of backpackers, tours, bar work, music entertainment at multiple locations for functions and social events. Thailand / Vietnam / Malaysia / Mozambique / London.
