Provide science advice relating to marine fish species, commercial fisheries and possible impacts from marine renewables developments, infrastructure and the oil & gas sector. This advice is provided to MSLOT, developers and other stakeholders.Attend various renewables conferences, engaging with the renewables sector, promoting renewable energy in Scotland. Answering any questions where possible or providing a conduit for communication between the relevant experts and developers etc.Representing MSS at project management groups and providing advice and support were possible.Provision of GIS support for advice and disseminate MSS data to the wider public. Working with developers, stakeholders and other MS colleagues to help facilitate the delivery of the Scottish Governments renewable energy targets.Admitted as an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessement in June 2013.
