With 20+ years of aviation experience, Gareth has recently been involved with the management of Certified Aerodromes for a large iron ore mining company for the last 10 years In that role, areas of supervision included customer service and baggage handling through to refuelling and Aerodrome compliance, Gareth has overseen a team of Aerodrome Reporting Officers, Air BP Refuellers and airline service utilities who Gareth personally trained in-house and managed their personal development Prior to working Aerodrome compliance and airline servicing, Gareth owned and operated Blue Sky Aviation, an RAAus flying school, in Western Australia’s wheatbelt. Specialising in teaching students to obtain a Recreational Pilots Certificate (RPC) in 2 weeks Gareth has returned to flight training, recently completing his Grade 3 Instructor rating with the Royal Aero Club of WA and is now one of their Instructors
