As the Curriculum Manager for Creative and Service Industries at Totton College, I am responsible for leading a team of talented teachers and mentors in delivering, assessing, and quality-assuring vocational courses in music, music technology, art and design, health and social care, motor vehicle, hospitality, hair and beauty, sport and uniformed public services. With over five years of experience in teaching music and music technology at the same college, I have developed a strong passion and expertise for creating and delivering bespoke curricula that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students, especially those with SEMH challenges.I hold a BA in Music and Music Production from Southampton Solent University and a QTS in Primary, Secondary, and Further Education. I have also supported multiple trainee teachers in various creative disciplines as a mentor and a moderator. My mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of creative professionals and learners by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities they need to succeed in their chosen fields. I am always eager to learn new techniques and technologies that can enhance my teaching practice and enrich my students' learning experience.
