The Integrated Education Fund (IEF) is an independent charitable company supporting the development and growth of integrated education in Northern Ireland. In my role i assist with the planning, development and delivery of the fundraising strategy for the IEF. My role includes prospecting and managing new and existing supporters and partnerships, and building relationships with trusts and foundations to achieve our vision of an education system free from religious, social and cultural divisions.

Omagh, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom

Training to provide impartial independent advice on debt and social security benefit matters to the public in the Omagh and Fermanagh council area. The role includes giving advice on matters such as bankruptcy, budgeting and negotiating with various stakeholders to achieve a shared favourable outcome, as well as helping the public with benefit queries such as PIP, Universal Credit, child tax credits and various other benefits.

Western Northern Ireland

My role as Fundraising Engagement Manager for the West of Northern Ireland pushed me to achieve ambitious budgeted income targets through proactively recruiting, engaging and mobilising networks of fundraising supporters, groups and volunteers and by securing, supporting and managing fundraising partnerships to maximise income. I provided relationship management and stewardship for supporters across CLIC Sargent’s fundraising portfolio in order to drive engagement, value and long term support enabling CLIC Sargent to support more children and young people with cancer.

Derry Fermanagh And Tyrone

It was my job to maximise income generation and raise the profile of CLIC Sargent through a range of fundraising activities and offers in the Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry/L’Derry area. I Contributed to and delivered marketing plans and made innovative approaches to deliver income from all community opportunities.I was responsible for ensuring income & expenditure budgets were met for Fundraising Campaigns, Supporter Groups, Corporates, In Memoriam and tribute funds, Schools, General Donations and in my own led events. Ι Planned and managed my time cost effectively, focusing efforts on income generation. I did this by ensuring feasibility, health, safety, risk assessment, planning and evaluation of all my fundraising projects. I built the profile of CLIC Sargent by making sure fundraising activities gain maximum media exposure working with local media in liaison with our Media Team to communicate key fundraising messages whilst being committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. I also gave talks and presentations about CLIC Sargent in order to gain new support from Educational Establishments, Businesses, Clubs and Individuals.My role also consisted of Volunteer management in where I had to Motivate volunteers and fundraising groups by providing appropriate support and training.

Tyrone, Derry And Fermanagh

I raised income for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland services ensuring the organization’s sustainability whilst working towards agreed financial and performance targets by developing new and existing areas of income from community fundraising.I also ensured the development of new and existing support networks and develop corporate fundraising income through activities such as Charity of the Year and corporate partnerships I supported third party fundraisers in all areas of their events and ensure their activities are consistent with current good practiceFurthermore the development and support of new and existing school, media and various other partnerships are key to my role seeking PR opportunities within my designated area acting as a spokesperson for Cancer Focus NI.

Omagh

I worked in a busy office for the Western Health and Social Care Trust as a Clerical Officer in the Finance department. Duties include, clerical/typing/wordprocessing duties, maintaining a high standard of confidentiality in accordance with relevant policies and legislation. Dealing with enquiries by phone, email and face to face in a corteous manner. Data inputting such as invoices and travel expenses claims. Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail. Maintenance of filing systems and general use of relevant office equipment.
