Directs the educational strategy and the institutional management with the Headteacher. Owns 50% of the school in partnership with Wynford Dore

Worked with a variety of Officers introducing new initiatives under the Blair government and led by David Blunkett and Estelle Morris. These included Performance Related Pay, Training Schools, Information Technology Development, School Based Training, Advanced Skills Teachers, National Training College.Acted as Adviser to many new Academies set up subsequent to the CTC developments (this process continues with some schools up to the present)

Helped to design the school on a green field site, set it up and led it for the first nine years of its' operation. During this time it was identified as an outstanding school by Ofsted, was ranked in the top ten schools in England was oversubscribed a minimum of five times over each year and the students selected were drawn from a statistical cross section of abilities. Was awarded a CBE for the work.
