Employed by Weetabix managing the day-to-day running of the cereal making processes and packaging lines meeting KPIs ensuring completion of planned production with minimum waste and maximum utilisation of manpower working within CTP/PTP tolerances delivering customer service levels at all times. Responsibilities included:o Changeover management taking a critical front line role in leading the modernisation program in manufacturing, actively promoting continuous improvement with effective implementation. o Downtime analysis and corrective action implementation, prioritising breakdowns and rectifying using SIC (short interval control). o Ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety legislation and company hygiene policies and procedures. o Conducting Hygiene and Health & safety audits, risk assessments, incident reporting ensuring HACCP conformance and maintaining a constant state of BRC and AIB audit readiness. o Delivering production plans and meeting KPIs.o Ensuring defined production standards and legal compliance were met.o Managing, motivating and leading the team to deliver modernisation targets.o Controlling cost within budgetary limits (labour and material usage).o Maintain quality standards (GMP).o Ensuring compliance against internal and external audit requirements.o Building cross-functioning teams.
