I am an enthusiastic, versatile and registered Senior Project Architect with over 20 years’ experience (16 registered), with a recent focus on Health, Mental Health and Educational projects but also with valuable experience in Laboratory, Science & Research, Defence, Recreational, Aged Care, Residential and Hospitality projects mainly across Perth and Melbourne. My strong Architectural computer skills (REVIT, CAD and Adobe) and technical capabilities (detailing, schedules and specifications) combined with my methodical and rigorous approach to Architecture has demonstrated the versatility to work across all areas and phases of the architectural spectrum. Senior Project ArchitectBamford Architects Apr 2019 - Aug 2022Melbourne, AustraliaMy primary role as Senior Project Architect was the documentation and contract administration of Health and Mental Health projects. I assisted in the development of Masterplans for various health clients, with the engagement of user groups and stakeholders undertaken remotely via teams. I also worked on some minor capital works education projects for VSBA.As direct support to the director, some of my additional tasks included mentoring graduates in contract administration, providing documentation reviews (QA), preparation of monthly PCG reports, site assessments, Masterplan and SD/DD reports, tender assessments, BIM Management plans, preparation of specifications and schedules (door hardware, signage and fixtures) and regulatory requirements for building permits (glazing calculations and performance solutions).One of my other accomplishments was the development of the office specification template (adapted from NATSPEC) to ensure adaptability across project types such as anti-ligature for mental health or simplified for D&C projects. This included the preliminaries and tender schedules where b-a would be the Superintendent. -
