Professionally, similar to my skills outside of technology, I'm a bit of a 'Jack of all trades' when it comes to systems, platforms and personnel. Having worked across the stack in multiple different applications covering web, mobile and console platforms, I have a broad set of knowledge and skills that makes me well suited to picking up any new challenge regardless of domain. Particularly I specialise in rapid prototyping and maximum results with minimum input; I'm all in favour of fast, nimble development with small teams and seek to achieve this regardless of the status quo. As a leader I focus on the individual; the single most valuable asset an organisation has is its employees and the secret to overall success is to get those employees invested in what they are trying to achieve and ensuring they are:- Unblocked and able to work without external obstructions.- Insulated from organisational pressures and politics.- Empowered to implement improvements and solutions without bureaucratic weight crushing innovation.- Given a clear path forward in their professional development.No matter the size of the organisation as a whole and its overall inertia, with a careful focus on effective teams and motivated staff great things can be achieved.
