Management of multiple communications equipment both static and mobile. Management of 40 Personnel of all technical abilities from newly trained to specialists. This role gave me vast experience in management of change, development of others. Ensuring that my staff were suitably trained and tested to provide robust, secure, mobile and static communications for the customer. Training on the Tactical elements and technical elements of the service being provided. Also management of all personnel including, Personal and Professional development, Mange expectations of individuals and the customer. Managing many projects all at once ensuring that deadlines were set and criteria and outcomes met.

Training Manager responsible for facilities, trainers and conducting assurance on all training being delivered. My role was to Coach and Mentor Trainers to aid them to deliver the best instruction possible, ensuring they had the freedom to teach in a way that would engage students , promote learning whilst ensuring that the lessons met standards expected as per policy and guidance. This role came with responsibility to ensure soldiers and officers were adequately trained to deploy overseas anywhere in the world. I was also responsible to analyse course design and delivery to ensure that subjects being taught were relevant to what was required for overseas deployment and was current and relevant to those on operations.

Regional Careers advisor for all Royal Signals soldiers, in all trade groups up to and including the rank of Warrant Officer class 1. Ensuring that information/policy was communicated to all and any relevant interviews and contracts were drawn up and agreed to by both the employer and employee.

Act as the Crypto Custodian of all items held within the workforce on behalf of the head of establishment. Ensuring that personnel held the correct vetting required for their role. Working closely with NSV to ensure that personnel were investigated when required and vetting was revoked when appropriate. Training was given to personnel who fell short of what was required of them when it came to safeguarding Cryptographic materials. Also it was my role to demand new keys and equipment to ensure all training of the School could take place without delay. Correct procedures were to be followed from the inception, storage and destruction of cryptomaterial (Whole life).My role also afforded me the ability to teach Crypto Accountants/Custodians to ensure they were correctly trained, briefed and tested on working with cryptographic materials. During my time I noticed the course design was out of date and not suitable for purpose. I invited the course design staff to observe and gave them advice on how and why the course design should be changed. This change ensured that all personnel that were users of cryptographic material were better informed and able to carry out their duties unhindered and without further risk to loss and accidental destuction.

Delivery of technical training to all trade groups within the Royal Signals. My role required me to teach BOWMAN training to staff that were non technical trained personnel along side colleagues from the Royal Signals and Civil Service. This job gained me the DTTT qualification and led me on to complete the DTS Qualification later on. During my time at this role I conducted meeting with stakeholders to ensure that training was relevant and required by the end customers. I was part of a training team of around 20 personnel who delivered this training on Land Based Training Aids and Power point presentations. I had to ensure that training I delivered was correct and up to the standard expected of me, whilst ensuring that I catered for all learning styles and abilities. Finally conducting testing of all students to ensure that training was understood and retained by the learners. Also ensuring that records were taken and safeguarded in a correct manner whilst conforming to GDPR rules.

Junior Engineer/Manager at the Communications Information Systems Trials and Development Unit. My role was to conduct field testing on many communications equipment and vehicles to ensure capability was maintained, upgraded or removed from use. Working in the Special Project team, ECM team and the CIS team. Conducting work with BAE, DSTL, GD to name a few.
