I ran the wound care and ophthalmics business unit for Unomedical based in Redditch in Worcestershire, responsible for a staff of over 100 people in sales, marketing, customer service, logistics, manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, quality and regulatory affairs. Business grew at double digit rate between 2005 and 2008, and we doubled EBITDA in this period.

After 3 years in sales and marketing at Smith & Nephew (my first company) I worked in the pressure area care business of Hill-Rom in various sales and marketing roles, including NPD. I worked in Montpellier, France for Hill-Rom for over 3 years with with R&D engineers

After graduating, I started my career at S&N in Hull, working in the marketing department, spending 15 months as a sales rep, and then back in marketing until I became product manager
