As the Program Manager I work in partnership with senior management to facilitate maximum private and public sector support; develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans for Athletics and Recreation teams and volunteer groups. Responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding prospects and donors, engaging volunteer groups and meeting volunteers and potential prospects on a one-on one basis. The position will ensure appropriate volunteer and donor recognition, acknowledgement and stewardship programs are in place and oversees the generation of donor/prospect solicitation materials and correspondence.

Toronto, Canada Area

As the Vice President of Operations of the largest organized AFL League outside of Australia, I oversaw all football related matters across the league, in the absence of a president I provided leadership to the executive to carry out the efficient operations of the 2015 season. In my position I supported season scheduling, field bookings and permits for teams across Ontario. I reported to the boards of 10 teams across the province, the position required preparing and submitting updates to the clubs, appointment of league umpires and enforcing the by-laws set forth by the member clubs of the league. During the season I was responsible for general troubleshooting and problem solving often seeking diplomatic solutions to issues within the league between clubs. I liaised with our partners on behalf of the league, increasing sponsorship partners and having 8 games including the men's and women's Grand Finals Broadcast on local television.

Responsibilities included generating new sponsorship for the league, building the AFL Ontario Brand in the Greater Toronto Area and assisting with the day to day operations of the league. During my tenure the league acquired 2 new major sponsors and had one of its most successful years in regards to player numbers and quality of football.

Overseeing the Transport planning for the Downtown Venues of Toronto. Organizing Committee Transport Planning Lead for Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the Pan Am Games and Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the Parapan Am Games. Other key responsibilities include management of the planning and integration for all Sport Road Events within the City of Toronto(Road Cycling, Triathlon, Marathon and Race Walk.) This position required me to engage and work in partnership with multiple Stakeholders including but not limited to, The City of Toronto, Toronto Police Services, RCMP, Toronto Fire and Emergency Services. During the course of my position the working relationships that were developed were key to the overall success of our operations. The trust and confidence built over our time working together were constructive to the team we built.
