As a Senior Project Manager for the packaging department, it was my responsibility to drive to completion all technical and service aspects of a project and management of a sub-team of Project Managers. Dealing with a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from some of the world's leading multi-national Pharma companies, to the more consultative, R&D-driven client who relies heavily on the skill sets of their Packaging PM. Seeing a mixture of both improvements in deliverables and cost efficiencies gained. One note returned an annual 6-figure re-occurring saving, in addition to a significant reduction in quality events.

Barco (JAOTech)Aug 2010 - May 2014 (3 years 10 months)JAOTech were a young start-up company, just 3 years old at my time of joining. They had positioned themselves as a market-leader with their range of Bedside Patient Care Smart Terminals. Within 18 months of my time at JAOTech the turnover had snowballed to a degree that required an external investment, and later an acquirement by Barco PLC, a global B2B technology company with a turnover in excess of €1 billion.As a standalone entity within Barco’s Medical Healthcare division, known as Point-of-Care, my role was to facilitate and oversee project deployment from the point of Sales led conversion. As a truly global company with offices in over 60 countries, my role included working with a global network of customers, suppliers and system integrates in addition to import/export specialists. The regions I had sole responsibility for were BeNeLux, France, Spain, Africa and North America. In addition to the above I had sole responsibility for:• The creation and management of BOMs.• Intercompany sales to other standalone national offices of Barco.• Tracking and monitoring of annual SLA’s for our in-house Software sales and deployment• Manufacturing of stock production, round shipment, and set-up of global trade exhibitions.This role was a mix of home-based and weekly site representation at group offices in Redhill, UK and Kortrijk, Belgium

When I joined MNH in March 2000, the company was just a year old and relocating from the owner’s home to its first business premises. My initial role was that of a junior position, but I quickly progressed with the company to become a scheduler for our drivers, then given the chance to take my Operators CPC and become the company’s sole holder of this qualification. Then, through hard work, dedication and the belief bestowed to me, I took on dual role of Transport Manager and Operations Controller.For the last 4 years of my time at MNH it was my responsibility to:• Manage in-house logistics/traffic department.• Responsible for the ongoing supplier relationships, based in China, Taiwan, US, and Western Europe, in addition to remote teams within the group with a view to freight movement and consolidation both nationally and internationally.• Sourcing, implementing start-up and the ongoing management of up to 20 sub-contractors, 3 external warehouses and a number of haulage companies across the UK to complement our own home-counties based haulage operations.Notable accomplishments• Built the remote operation at Manchester Airport, replicating the local operation to service the contractual requirements of the transatlantic sector of BMi.• With the experience gained when working on numerous elements of the strategic contracts such asVirgin Atlantic and BMi, I was given the opportunity to account manage the supply, refurbishmentand KPI reporting of an initial summer contract with First Choice Airlines and their Premium andEconomy headset supply.
