Brintnell/Pelican Wabiskaw Flood• Provide geologic support to 9 production engineering teams within the Brintnell/Pelican fields on primary production, water flood, and polymer flood wells in Wabiskaw stratigraphy.• Executed drill programs from opportunity identification to well-planning and budgeting through to on-call operations.• Geosteered and successfully placed horizontal wells in Wabiskaw reservoir thinning to less than 2m in places with large-scale structure.• Took the initiative to assist the Smith asset team in an extensive drilling program, geosteering multilateral horizontal wells in Clearwater.• Integrated geology, production, completions, and other well information into data-driven solutions and visualizations using Python, machine learning, and Tableau. Heavy Oil Exploration• Primary geologist in a Heavy Oil Central asset area in east Alberta.• Worked exclusively in Mannville Stratigraphy with a particular focus on horizontal development of Sparky and Cummings/Dina.• Re-evaluated and developed new, comprehensive models for key plays within the asset, consequently establishing and driving staged development plans.• Initiated and built a Python code-based solution to automate a government abandonment form, cutting the 6 hour manual process to seconds; this solution is still in use today.

Deep Basin Exploration• Project work involved highly detailed evaluation of shale formation potential, including regional thermal maturity mapping, planning and implementation of a coring and analysis program.• Primary Geologist role in multiple teams during Deep Basin tenure, overseeing asset management, including: prospect identification and development, land sale evaluation, expiry recommendations, competitor analysis, recompletion program planning and execution.• Detailed asset work included particular focus in Spirit River, Bluesky, Gething, Nikanassin and later in Debolt, Wabamun, and Montney.• Assisted in planning and drilling of Spirit River horizontal gas wells.• Logged core for the 2012 Thermal strat program using the CNRL Thermal stratigraphic model.
