Role:Manage up to 150 personnel facilitating operationally required skills throughout a wide range of competences, energizing and driving the department forward. Tasked to brief senior management on shortfalls, lessons identified and potential courses of improvement within the department.Achievements: • Planned and organized a two-month long exercise, enabling the department of 150 personnel to progress within an area of higher responsibility. This included briefing the department on logistical details as well as facilitating the movement to an impoverished country of both personnel and equipment.• Enforced regulations and put policies in place in order to ensure the reputation of the UK Armed Forces remains at a high level. This resulted in an engaging and strong-willed work ethic between nations ultimately improving rapport. • Managed various communication systems ensuring groups where located safely, correctly and on time. This included maritime vessels, monitoring their position, advising coxswains and faultfinding if necessary. This ensured the smooth running of all serials to fulfill the departments required effect.• Initiated the procurement of a new communications device, this was tested and reviewed in every environment for durability, endurance and practicality. This allowed a greater situational awareness for users, increasing efficiency and productivity for the department.

Role:Deliver training to peers in specific disciplines; this resulted in an increase in training benefit and a higher output for the department. Responsible for the maintenance and repair for all the departments’ specialist equipment, this produced a 10% decrease in wastage. Achievements:• Trained and mentored an indigenous Special Forces unit with a bespoke program through many disciplines, resulting in a 15% operational uplift from previous programs, this was carried out with no more finance or assets.• Volunteered for a demanding specialist surveillance course, delivered this niche skill to the department, leading a team employing this skill in a complex and high pressured environment.• Completed a PS course, specialising in hosting a VIP in a hostile environment utilising all necessary skills including anti surveillance, counter survaillance and hard extraction drills.• Achieved a top 5% pass in a specialist medic course, utilized this skill in foreign countries and in A+E departments throughout the country. Accomplished a level 7 diploma in Austere medicine, highlighting shortfalls of medical equipment in a real life austere environment.
