Separately, I wrote several feature articles for the Guardian Voluntary Sector Network and worked on feature articles and survey reports for Civil Society Media.

Starting out as an editorial assistant, by 2008 I had been promoted to senior reporter of Charity Finance, the leading financial magazine for charity sector executives. Responsibilities included: - Writing numerous feature articles;- Sourcing and writing news stories for civilsociety.co.uk;- Key involvement in the Charity Finance's survey programme - devising questionnaires, analysing results and producing in-depth reports;- Editing Charity Finance's 'technical briefing' section - sourcing and editing articles on the latest legal, taxation and regulatory developments;- Programming the Charity Technology Conference from 2011 to 2013 and the Charity VAT & Tax Conference in 2011 and 2012;- Specific responsibility for Civil Society Media's IT output, including coordination of content for civilsociety.co.uk/IT and editing Civil Society IT magazine;- Four years compiling and analysing the Charity Index, which tracks the incomes of the UK's largest charities.
