I have been tasked with establishing a new function at the CQI with the medium to long term aim of delivering a 'superior professional development provision' to our global membership of quality professionals and management systems auditors.My role encompasses:- Print and digital cpd content, including the Quality World Magazine- Events, including the International Quality Awards- Webinars, and video content- Digital content platforms, including the e-library and Quality Careers Hub- Volunteer networks (branches and special interest groups) and their events / cpd provision.

I am responsible for the operation of 4 teams:- New Member Team (recruiting new members)- Member Journey Team (retaining members)- Content Team (informing and engaging members)- Professional Networks Team (branches and special interest groups)

All Things Quiz is centred on a YouTube channel devoted to the mind sport of quizzing / trivia.Our mission is to:- To raise the profile of quizzing as a sport- Promote equity, diversity and inclusion in quizzing- To entertain In order to achieve that we:- Produce content about the world of competitive quizzing and tv quizzing, and shine a light on the personalities, tactics, variety and achievements within the sport- Produce original content aimed to help quizzers to improve- Actively seek to diversify the quiz canon, to widen participation, and to use our influence and platform to make the sport a more inclusive place- Produce original quiz programming that showcases great quizzers, great questions, and provides great entertainmentWe are also available on a contract basis to write questions for tv shows, and our team has experience of writing for shows including Mastermind, Fifteen To One and Impossible.

BMECP is moving to a new purpose built community training facility at the end of March 2010. My role is to get the BMECP procedurally and organisationally geared up for a whole new set of challenges that the centre will bring. I am also in charge of procurement for the centre.

I managed GrantScape's trading subsidiary, GrantScape Services Ltd.- I devised the commercial and marketing strategies for GrantScape Services, reorienting it from a focus on fundraising to the delivery of consultancy related to grantmaking.- I was the brand champion for the GrantScape group- I led the development and delivery of new products and services- I led the delivery of the marketing of the products and services

As the Head of Membership I was a member of the Senior Management Team responsible for managing the relationship with our member organisations. This involved:- Member recruitment, engagement and retention, - Membership administration functions, - Led the corporate rebrand from the 'Federation of Independent Advice Centres' to 'AdviceUK'- Communications and marketing, including the creation of a new website and media such as the newsletter, - Commercial and non-commercial service development- Created a trading subsidiary insurance company and launched it successfully resulting in an immediate increase of £100,000 per annum

I ran the commercial and non-commerical operations of the union. Developing areas of the building, increasing shop turnover by over 100%, achieving increases of bar turnover of 80%, and improving the facilities and activities available to students.
