As the EMEA technology manager, I shaped how technology is used and implemented not only for individual clients but also for major client segments as well. I was responsible for researching the technology that best matched the solutions we aimed to deliver, initial assessment of the technology features and benefits and designing the client profile in relation to an EMEA specific roadmap. Key aspects of the role included:Working with customers, partners and internal resources to define technical and business system requirement for RPO solutions as well as MSP.Translating technology and business requirements into practical application and utilization.Continue to be the go-to person for Commercial Finance and Legal teams to ensure MSAs and local CPAs are accurate and compliant for regional invoicing requirements, with specific focus on VAT and PSD2 compliance. Defining and continuously improving the AGS RPO Technology roadmap for client facing talent acquisition technology solutions.

I was accountable for managing the invoicing, payment and accounts receivable functions for our programmes; providing leadership and management of our EMEA invoicing team and technical guidance to our programme directors by leveraging our tools and best practices. As a subject matter expert, I was responsible for helping the deployment of the AllegisPay accounting system. Key achievements in this role: As a workstream lead, I successfully represented the Invoicing team as a leader and subject matter expert for new RPO and MSP EMEA implementations and expansions over the past 5 years, from discovery to deployment.I assisted and advised the Business Development team during the new bid process to ensure the solution being offered were compliant with local tax and operating rules within the region.I led a year on year reduction in unpaid invoices over the majority of EMEA programmes.I actively coached several AGS employees outside of my team, to improve confidence, communication and interpersonal skills.I was the proud recipient of the Shared Services 2019 W3 award, recognising my operational work with programme leads during implementation and day to day activities.

Provide monthly reconciliation reports to support Sales Accounting and other Finance departments within CA. Creating and modifying SQL queries for pulling data from the in-house system TOPS via CA-Visual Express.Creating Access databases to handle vast sums of data in order to extract information for local finance and auditors.KPI and SLA measuring and reporting.Go to person for local finance reporting queries and local GAAP reporting reconciliation issues.

The position involved:Dealing with high volumes of contract and sales queries as well as invoice and credit note creation.Assist other departments when queries arise was also critical. Provide an organised and confident approach when working through detailed contracts in order to generate product renewal notifications for clients while interacting with local Finance and Sales teams.To have excellent written, verbal and personal communication skills.

A summary of the tasks involved were:Processing payment runs.Dealing with supplier queries.Restaurant Manager P&L queries.Producing month end statement reconciliations.Extensive JD Edwards knowledge.The processing of high volumes of invoices (500+ per week).

The main aspects included:Increasing profit margins and controlling costs.The running and training of a team of 12-15 people.Running the Public House in the absence of the Manager.Used as a ‘Relief Manager’ for the area in the absence of other permanent managers.Organising and implementing theme nights for both profit maximisation and staff morale.
