About Gareth Parry

I am a consultant lawyer at EDF Renewables UK and Ireland and Codling Wind Park. With a background in major infrastructure and energy projects I have spent the last 25 years specialising in power and renewable energy projects.My experience includes working for major offshore wind developers supporting then from project inception to FID and during construction and asset operations. I have worked as lead and support lawyer in-house working with engineering and procurement teams and steercos on fixed foundation and floating substructure offshore wind projects. I prepare and negotiate tier 1 packages, pre-FEED, Preferred Supplier Agreements, Reservation Agreements, NDAs, survey campaigns, private wire arrangements and CfD submissions. I am the co-author of a number of engineering, health and safety and construction books published by Thomas Telford and Sweet & Maxwell.
