I am an experienced End-End Supply Chain leader, with fifteen years of experience in multiple verticals, distribution channels. My dynamic approach has allowed me to excel in various operations from industrial manufacture to retail and wholesale distribution. My career began in Industrial Engineering Consulting in South Africa. In 2008 I moved to Dubai to work for the largest luxury retailer in the Middle East, Al Tayer, driving Logistics Excellence across all of their many product verticals (automotive, fashion, perfumes & cosmetics, food and other FMCG) I then joined L’Oreal where I drove cost improvements in their warehouse operations in the Middle East and North Africa. In 2013 I joined Johnson & Johnson where, in my most recent role as Operations Manager, I led a team of logistics professionals to manage all aspects of logistics, warehousing, transportation, customs brokerage, duties and compliance and 3PL management for the Consumer Division in the complex Middle East and North African markets. I have led Sourcing for Johnson & Johnson Consumer in the Africa, Middle East and Turkey (AMET) region. I was responsible for all commercial negotiations, relationship management, sourcing strategy development and network design of J&J's External Manufacturing network. On top of this, I was responsible for all local procurement of raw materials for Johnson & Johnson internal plants in Egypt and South Africa. In my previous role I have led a team of logistics experts ensuring patient critical Medical Devices are delivered to hospitals across the Middle East.I current lead a project team of Supply Chain experts supporting Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices change in go-market strategy from a distributor model to direct to hospital model. Ensuring we have the right Supply Chain setup to ensure we deliver our life saving products to hospitals across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.I am a tactical and strategic problem solver who thrives in an environment where I can use this to solve organisational issues, implement effective Supply Chains and ultimately maximise customer satisfaction while ensuring continuous improvement in cost, service and quality.
