As an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching, leadership, and special educational needs (SEN), I am passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments where every child has the opportunity to thrive. My journey began in the UK and has taken me through various roles, including intelligence and linguistics in the British Army, academic publishing, and, ultimately, education—a field where my passion truly lies.I currently lead the SEN, SEMH, Behavioural and Career Counselling Department at Jakarta Nanyang School, where I advocate for the integration of SEN and social-emotional and mental health (SEMH) strategies within mainstream education. With a firm belief in the transformative power of inclusive education, I have pioneered SEN programs and led initiatives that empower educators to support students with diverse learning needs. My work extends beyond the classroom as I actively engage in workshops, conferences, and professional development sessions, sharing insights on SEN methodologies and behavioural management.I am a member of the Society for Education and Training in the UK.
