A little bit about me: Estate Agency was a career where I hit the ground running!I had previously worked in front and back of house positions within the hospitality sector, in various pubs and restaurants, and I was keen to apply the people and communication skills I had honed to an industry where there was likely to be better progression opportunities. Being a people person, and always approachable, I felt the transition would suit me very well. I joined Goodfellow's Estate Agents (part of LSLI) in the summer of 2013, in leafy Cheam, as a Lettings Negotiator, but ended up covering several different areas including Mitcham, Tooting, Colliers Wood and Carshalton and then learned how to be a decent Lettings Negotiator under the guidance of excellent branch managers.I spent just over 5 years at Goodfellow's, finishing up in the Raynes Park office, and then sought an opportunity to work with higher end properties. After contacting Worth Recruiting, I was offered the opportunity to join Chase Buchanan as a Senior Lettings Negotiator. I spent a very fast paced 10 months there, with much success, along with the full-on ups and downs of a demanding property market where winning new instructions was the key! But a home move gave me an opportunity to change industry and the possibility of moving into the recruitment sector. I distinctly remembered how helpful Luke at Worth Recruiting had been and I was delighted to be offered a job by Guy and Pascale Hodge, to start as a recruitment consultant in July 2022. The role brings together all of my interpersonal skills and my love of helping people and I can empathise with many candidates because I have been on the same journey.
