A significant aspect of my current role involves liaising with print and web designers, magazine editors, members of the events team and working to the expectations and brief outlined by the MD.My initial role at Jazz Publishing was data-entry based but as there was very little social strategy, I saw this as an opportunity to help drive the business. I devised and implemented a strategic style-guide to overhaul the existing social structure and establish new channels. Responsibilities include:-Managing, and creating content strategies for 17 Facebook and Twitter accounts across the print and events side of the publishing business.-Writing effective and creative copy, as well as maintaining our websites with impactful images via the Drupal CMS.-Preparing content for use in email marketing campaigns and making sure they’re scheduled correctly to create the best results for each audience.-Preparing final design documents of our magazines to be used by our digital publishing platform, Zinio.-Being the point of contact within the company for everything relating to social media.-Analysing social performance, keeping up-to-date with advances in the social space and using this information to inform future strategy.-Using Adobe Premiere to create in-house promotional videos for our live events utilising footage shot by freelancers.-Setting up and operating a photography booth at our live events.
