• Variety of team functions including group wide steel procurement, indent and stock sales, processing, administration of warranties, customer service and dispute resolution, new product development and implementation.
• Responsible for setting, monitoring and achieving team budgets. Organising and running monthly management meetings, answerable for team performance and drive forward.
• Organisation of overseas visits to suppliers in Korea, Singapore, Dubai, and Australia. Travelling both independently and with team members. Hosting visits to New Zealand from suppliers from countries such as Korea.

• Group-wide procurement of all steel items from major international steel mills, processing centres, stockists and traders predominantly in the Asia/Europe regions
• An all-encompassing role, managing the end-to-end life cycle from supplier contract negotiation through to sales and physical delivery of steel products to various domestic and international branches
• Key tasks of direct sales, marketing, key account management and business development to leading engineering, construction, and manufacturing companies across New Zealand and the Australia/Pacific
