Promoting Our Heritage started in October 2002 in response to the need to share the Jamaican Heritage with the British education system on a formal basis.We have since extended to carry books and other material on the wider Caribbean and parts of Africa. We regularly work with authors and publishers representing Africa and the Caribbean.

I promote African Caribbean Cultural Heritage books, events and other associated support mechanisms primarily in the UK.

Promoting Our Heritage allows me to try things out on my own business before recommending it to other businesses. I am always happy when I can identify something which I have tried and it worked and I am able to guide a receptive business through it. At the same time I guide them away from things that have not worked for me, but still give them the option to explore.

My 15 year career at the Voice Media Group has allowed me to have an intimate interaction with the UK's BAME community as well as our global stakeholders.For many of our clients, I have been there with them from their first tentative steps; their first advert and then some. I have grown with you and you have also helped me to grow. Having run my own business for 17 year and now a qualified business adviser I am even better equipped to help our growing band of BAME small businesses.
