To ensure smooth and trouble free operation of 4-HI Hot Rolling Steckel Mill (Twin stand) from electrical & automation side.To carry out necessary modification in software (Level-1&2) and hardware for process optimization and increasing productivity.To review/maintain necessary healthy spares and Indenting.To carry out Breakdown, Condition based and Schedule Maintenance of equipments to minimise the down time and increase equipments availability.To implement and monitor progress of various other activities like TPM, Energy Saving, 5-S, OHSAS etc.To provide necessary technical training to Engineers on breakdown handling and technical subjects.

Root cause analysis of all major problems related to Elect. & Automation in HSM (Hot Strip Mill) area & giving permanent solutions & suggestions for them.To assess the techno-commercial offers (for projects across the plant) given by various external agencies and give suggestions based on study.

Worked and coordinated in all modernisation/revamping projects of Rolling Mill and provided significant inputs during stabilisation of 1500 mm wide Rolling Mill.To carry out Breakdown, Condition based and Schedule Maintenance of equipments to minimise the down time and increase equipments availability.Attended 10 days training on Siemens S7 PLC by M/S Siemens Ltd.

Hands on Experience in following areas:-• DC & AC Drives : Siemens ( SIM-K/KC analog/digital 6RA-20, 6RA-22, 6RA-70, SIM-D,), Allen Bradly (1395), ABB( Tyrak-8D ). AC: Siemens Master Drive (DR-70),Siemens 6SE70, Allen Bradly 1336, ABB ACS800/600/550 series, Schneider Altiver drives• PLCs : Siemens ( Simatic S5 Series i.e. 95U,100U,155U, S7 PLC and Simadyn-D), Allen Bradley , ABB ACS 800M & GE PHANUC (VME Probas).• AC/DC Motors : Operation & Maintt . of AC motors upto 1250 Kw, DC motors upto 7000 HP.• DCS / SCADA : Siemens Coros/WIN-CC• EOT/Road Cranes : Maintt./troubleshooting (Upto 125 MT load capacity)• Transformers : Operation & Maintt. Of different rating of transformer (Upto 10 MVA.)• Switch Gear (HT/LT) : ACBs,OCBs, VCBs of GEC, L&T, C&G, EE make (operation & maintenance)• Protection System and Relays coordination : Operation/Setting/Co-ordination of different types of relays ( IDMT, SR21, Thermal, Micro-processor Based relays like SR61, 7SJ6005 etc.)• Spares Planning and control : Planning of spares for different equipments and maintain them at optimum level• Projects :Cables size calculations, Capacitors Bank capacity calculation, Calculation of load currents & design of PCC/MCC based on calculation for new projects/modification of existing system• Others (Utilities) : Hydraulic controls (Servo, Pneumatic, Proportional valves), actuators, Automatic Strapping m/c, High pressure descaling system etc.• TPM/Q-SHE/5-S : Rich experience of different Quality systems activities like TPM, 5-S etc.

Worked as Shift Incharge of E&A for Rolling Mill. Responsible for all type of maintt., modification, troubleshooting in Mill area.Attended 06 days on the job training on 6RA70 DC Drives by M/S Siemens Ltd.

Worked as Shift Incharge and handled all Roughing Mill/Steckel Mill/Re-Heating Furnace/Down Coiler related breakdowns.Worked and coordinated in all modernisation/revamping projects of Rolling Mill and provided significant inputs during stabilisation of Rolling Mill.Attended 05 days on the job training on V/f controlled AC Drives (Siemens Master Drive) by M/S Siemens Ltd.
