Gari is a dedicated nonprofit professional with a passion for social justice. She holds an MSc in Communication from Clark University's Accelerated Degree Program, building upon her prior academic success with a summa cum laude degree in Political Science, focusing on Comparative Politics. Currently serving as the Office Manager and Executive Assistant at the Committee to Protect Journalists, Gari leverages her skills to support crucial initiatives in press freedom and human rights. Her career journey has seen her championing various causes through social media and communications roles at organizations such as Action for the Climate Emergency and MoveOn. She is currently pursuing her MPA in Public and Nonprofit Management at New York University. In addition, she is the founder of Radical in Progress, an educational platform offering free study guides on essential social justice literature.
