My passion is building community based connections to place through outdoor recreation. I am on a mission to serve others in a way that can bring new understandings of the ways that down stream impacts connect us all. I utilize my strengths of creative problem solving in ever changing logistical landscapes to provide safety in environments that are emotionally, physically a socially challenging to yield both individual and communal growth.I am driven by a desire to understand how things work while utilizing my intellectual tools to produce constructive outcomes. My years as an Outdoor Educator and as a Bicycle Mechanic have been an expression of my desire to provide solutions to nuanced problems. Just as the machinery of a bicycle can bring about access to a healthy life, so too can people work to nourish themselves and others through access to constructive, uplifting and healthy communities.From small to large projects, I pride myself on my ability organize the process, and to adapt as goals and schedules shift and new challenges emerge. As a professional I embrace the process of working on the ground with people, to navigate challenges. I want to help bridge gaps between the resources that communities have and the services that they need and desire.

Coordinate and facilitate outdoor recreation programs for the Outdoor Recreation School of Three Rivers Park District. A broad range of responsibilities and roles providing programing to the public for regional park system with more than 27,000 acres of land and 12.5 million annual visitors. Coordination of programs includes planning, equipment management and maintenance, purchasing, curriculum development, training of staff, and direct program delivery. My specific coordination areas have included: kayak programs, mountain bike programs, bike programs, cross country ski programs, social media administration, digital program creation including video production, a mobile climbing wall, fleet of 40 adjustable size bikes, Rennet race director (1000 person ski and fat bike race), a mobile zip line, developing a camping gear library, summer camps.
