Hopefully I'll be back teaching at ASU soon, but it was a fantastic ride while it lasted. I learned a lot along the way, including how much I enjoy teaching.

During my time at Plexus I had the opportunity to manage a large team of designers through a complete, award-winning, rebrand of the Plexus identity including the logo and packaging across dozens of products.I worked closely with the CMO and other executives to maintain and expand the brand through product launches, events, web design and development, recognition programs, and three international market launches.

After years working in the design agency world, I decided to work with Origami Owl as their in-house Art Director. While there I worked closely with the video and photography teams to plan and execute video and photo shoots. I also worked on multiple product brochures and digital look books. My role eventually increased to working with the sales and training teams and the events team as well.It was a joy to manage a small but mighty team of in-house and freelance designers during my time at Origami Owl.

I had the opportunity to learn and grow while working on projects at one of the premier and award-winning design studios in Arizona. While there I created the branding and identity for many large and small clients alike. This list includes Sun City Arizona, CantaMia Homes, Tegavah Estates and more. I also designed packaging and style guides for Calbee Foods, Shamrock Farms, and Vemma. Plus print materials, logos, websites, annual reports, environmental signage, business cards, and vehicle graphics.This time was incredibly influential for me, shaping my design strategy, learning the rules of branding and identity, and understanding the importance of building a great brand.
