Having completed a degree in Management Science with Computing and an MSc in Quality Management, Garret has primarily been involved in designing, architecting and implementing IT solutions in the Finance and Banking Industries. Garret has worked in many different fields in Finance and Banking, including: retail, insurance, salaries, pensions and fund & asset management. My clients include: Seven Investment Management, Standard Life, Lloyds Banking Group, Intelligent Finance, St. James’s Place Bank, Baillie Gifford, ISIS Asset Management, Scottish Provident, Lloyds of London and St George Bank (Australia).While at 7IM, Garret has been primarily involved in enhancing the 7IM platform, introducing both new products and also enhancing the existing functionality. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, Garret has worked on many aspects of the system, including: Fixed Term Deposits, Margin Lending Facility, Switching, Rebalancing and Ad-hoc Client Review Reports. I am currently working on enhancing the platform to automate the process of Regular Withdrawals and ContributionsGarret is a MCAD .NET certified professional, with nearly 20 years IT experience and promises to bring enthusiasm, commitment and professionalism to any work environment. Garret is currently studying for his Finance exams (IMC Unit 1), which he hope to complete in the near future.
