After a brief time, he moved into a Junior Programming position and then was rapidly promoted to a Senior Programmer. Key responsibilities and projects worked on included:- Programming, testing and implementing bug fixes for in-house web application- Redesigning and reprogramming a Wordpress multi-site theme- Creating a real-time KPI dashboard that parsed JSON data streams- Creating a system to automate a sales commission process by mapping out the human process flow and removing all bottlenecks and potential points of fraud. This system saved 10 man days every month- Improving the company’s customer-facing marketing sites checkout process and automating incoming registrations- Redesigning the company’s MySQL database for future scalability- Training and mentoring of a Junior Programmer- Leading a team of 2 other developers (Senior & Junior Programmer)
