  9 MILLBANKThis luxury development consisting of two buildings; 9 Millbank (the refurbishment of an existing grade II listed building) and Millbank Quarter, a 10-storey building to replace an existing office building. We justified the reuse of an existing double storey basement realising significant carbon, cost & programme savings –10 months taken off critical path, saving 25,000t of existing concrete from demolition. The project was shortlisted in the IStructE Structural Awards 2023.COPPERMAKER SQUARE, STRATFORD Coppermaker Square, mixed use development comprising over 1100 new homes making it one of London’s largest single-site PRS schemes. Nine blocks of up to 38 storeys over a double storey basement, WESTFIELD LONDON SHOPPING CENTRE The phase 2 extension included 750,000 ft2 retail space, 1000 carpark spaces and a TFL bus layover depot whilst navigating extremely complex site constraints. Heavy retro works and innovative construction engineering created a 22m wide, three storey link to the existing centre, whilst keeping a busy cinema complex open while the structure was demolished below.17,000 tonnes of steel were used, spanning live roads and central line infrastructure, utilising heavy plate girders, trusses and hanging structures to complete Europe’s largest shopping centre.GLASSHOUSE GARDENSPlots S7 and S8 forming the residential element of The International Quarter (TIQ) in Stratford. Two blocks of 30 and 17 storeys, with a striking GRC façade. Planning support through to completion.
